Ingredients:
- 1 kg picanha steak
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 500g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 500ml beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the steak to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the butter and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly. Simmer for 5 minutes.
